Press Preview Tomorrow, March 1—Inaugural Programming at The Met Breuer, The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s New Space Dedicated to Modern and Contemporary Art

Press preview for The Met Breuer, The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s new space dedicated to modern and contemporary art on Madison Avenue at 75th Street in Manhattan.

Inaugural programming includes: the exhibitions Unfinished: Thoughts Left Visible, exploring the question of when a work of art is finished, with over 190 works dating from the Renaissance to the present, and Nasreen Mohamedi, the first retrospective of the artist’s work in the United States; and Relation: A Performance Residency by Vijay Iyer, a series of continuous performances in the building’s Lobby Gallery.
